Ray Jensen lives in Alvin, Texas with his wife Anna. He has one son, daughter-in-law and a grandson. Ray spent 20 years in the radio communications industry before entering into full time ministry. He graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering in 1997, a Bachelors in Christian Leadership from the College of Biblical Studies Houston in 2006, and a Masters in Christian Leadership from Liberty Theological Seminary in 2011. Ray has been with Calvary Chapel Set For Life since its founding, and became pastor in 2015. after serving full time ministry starting in 2014. Ray has served as a missionary in various countries, including, Mexico, Panama, Africa, and Israel.
In his spare time, Ray enjoys spending time with church and family – and his dawgs, talking around the world on ham radio, and video/podcast editing for his radio show, “Set For Life Radio.”
As a 5th generation Texan, Pastor Ray believes there are two things you’ll never hear a true Texan say, “Those tires are too big,” and, “please trim the fat off my steak.”
Ray’s mission statement is put very simply, “To get the gospel of Jesus out to as many people as I can.”
